About the artist
Evelina Simanavičiūtė (DUJA) (born in 1988) is an interdisciplinary artist working across painting, graphics, textile, installation, and performance. In her practice, she brings together personal experience, fragments of memory, and emotional states, exploring themes of identity, connection, and the inner world.
Her work is characterized by sensitivity, a quiet visual narrative, and an intuitive creative process. She often allows materials and ideas to shape the outcome, resulting in pieces that convey a natural sense of fragility, stillness, and recognizable human experience - inviting the viewer to pause and look more closely.
